Today, every Yankee fan is an Iranian. We should be taking to the streets. We should be throwing garbage at buildings.
We are being asked to sit back and watch as our entire world view collapses... as Pedro Martinez tries out for the team.
Here's an idea:
Let's wait a couple years on Pedro. He'll be ready then. Maybe that was the problem with Pavano: We signed him three years too early.

Why is the pitching being blamed when the Yankees are not hitting?
Maybe the Yankees should get Nolan Ryan he still looks fit.

Interesting story about Nolan Ryan. Recently, I went to a restaurant with a woman (because I am so studly), and hanging next to our booth was a jersey autographed by Nolan Ryan (because that is the kind of restaurant I take women to) and she read his signature and asked, "who is Helen Ryan?"
When I heard them say that the Yankees are looking at pedro I almost barfed.
Good point by anonymous #1. Why are they fixing the pitching when the problem is hitting?
We won't sign Pedro. We're his daddy and that's as far as it goes!
