Yankee Scouts Impressed with Pedro's Dwarf

Former superstar Pedro Martinez bench-lifted, power-lifted and performed squat-thrusts Saturday with his dwarf, attempting to show interested teams that he still has the physical skills to excel in the majors.

Among the teams watching were the Yankees, who were impressed with Pedro's little friend.

"We think he's cute as the dickens," a Yankee scout said, asking not to be identified. "The way he tips his hat and smiles. You want to hug him. I'm telling you, he's an ambassador of good will, a lot of things. We can use that little guy."
