News that Hillary Clinton fell and broke her elbow moved swifly into the Yankee braintrust Wednesday. Though the team previously had shown no interest in the 61-year-old lefty, the possibility that she might require surgery and miss a year quickly vaulted her to the top of the Yankee prospect charts.
"This changes everything," said a Yankee scout who asked not be named. "Some teams shy away from pitchers with bad arms. We prefer them."
Clinton directed all comments to newly hired spokesman Scott Boras.
