Yankeetorial: Newest Alec Baldwin "Yankee Fan" commercial shows disgusting behavior that should not be encouraged or tolerated

The newest New Era "Yankees vs. Red Sox" commercial is debuting tonight during the Yankees-Red Sox broadcast.

Alec Baldwin is supposed to be representing Yankee fans in the series, but I'm sorry -- in this commercial, Baldwin exhibits behavior that simply cannot be condoned. It's not funny, and it shouldn't be held up as representing Yankees fans. Watch:



I'm sorry, folks, I know it's supposed to be funny. But it's not. It exhibits behavior that should not be encouraged, especially if impressionable children see it.


"I left in the sixth inning"


You're supposed to be a real Yankee fan ... and you left in the sixth inning of a game against the Red Sox!!??!!

Intolerable. Inexcusable. Unforgivable.

So, in these commercials, the Yankees are represented by one of those rich, luxury-suite losers who don't watch the game, bitch about the hors d'oeuvres and leave early so they don't have to fight traffic.


... what? You thought I was writing about Baldwin punching the guy in the face? No, of course I don't have a problem with that -- hey, even better if you can find Kevin Youkilis. If Baldwin was a real fan, though, he'd wait until AFTER the game to punch the scrawny punk in the jaw.

And he wouldn't give him $20,000 to fix his face.
