Should we do a running live open forum blog for game five?

That means group participants. That means you, the general public, checking in. That means reporting the words and thoughts of The Master, for what could be his final game as the voice of the New York Yankees.

Last time we did tried this, the Yankees lost. Cliff Lee humiliated us. It was bad juju.

Well... what's the verdict, Yankiverse? Should we try it Thursday night? Season on the line. Who feels lucky? Who's in? Rusty?

Will it be accessible via I-Phone?

I watch the game inside a closet at a local bar, and can't get to a real PC devise.

Also, I never do anything that represents, or represented, or might still represent, bad ju-ju.

Go for it. Regardless of the luck it brings or doesn't bring, the Master must be honored.

Superstition is for Red Sox fans. I--along with all true Yankee fans--believe in Scientific Baseball.

I understand that some publishing industry grifter is peddling a guide to hocus pocus, mumbo jumbo and so-called "juju" for Yankee fans. I oppose all such schemes.

I'm proud to say that it was my juju that propelled the Yankees to their resounding victory last night. You're welcome, New York. And thank you, Alphonso, for the inspiration. http://tinyurl.com/3vasn53

It would be high and far gone wrong if you did not honor the potential last joint appearance in the Lowe's broadcast booth of John and Suzyn, and you would be caught for this. The Yankees have a long history of not honoring the great voices who have been doing their bidding on the radio for so many years, letting them slink of, or in some cases, crutch off, into the horizon with little fanfare. Thankfully, there is this small effort here on the Internets to honor the that great professional John Sterling. Wish they had one of these when I was around.
Sincerely,
Frank Messer

It was a fun last time, however there are other ways to honor the master and if we go into the enterprise thinking it might be the last broadcast that is already bad juju. It was bad juju before and it should not be repeated.
