Oh, great. And while we're searching for washed-up, incompetent sadists, why don't we give Dallas Green a call to see what he's up to these days?

With Bobby Valentine, you're asking not just for a pipe cleaning but for a demolition job. How many wrecked franchises does this guy have to leave in his wake before people get over him?

My sense is that Jeter is through as a player and that he will be tabbed as the next manager. Great way to salvage his box-office appeal, but only a fancy wrapper for a rotting corpse of a franchise.
