I think we all need to take a deep breath, access our compassion and generosity, and recall that without Duque, we wouldn't even be here. Let's take it easy. Let's not get carried away.
Ok,I am stating the obvious here, but hopefully it's obvious to The Brain. Namely that the past week has clearly shown what the flaws are: Judge can't hit all year like he has been hitting for the past month, we need ideally two corner infielders who can drive the ball and play good defense, two relief pitchers who can strike people out, and have a real swingman type reliever unless Poteet has some kind of underlying metric known only to the front office. We are stuck with Torres, it's unlikely that we can reasonably replace him. Pray for health. But let's not get into the funk that the end is near lest we become clones of the Red Sox fans of years gone by. Personally I will stop watching and following baseball before that happens!
