The breaking ball's working for Rodon. Dropping it in for strikes often enough that when hitters see it out of hand they have to commit. The strike three swing by Thomas was awful. Pitch was never a threat to be a strike, but Thomas read "breaking ball", knows Rodon's throwing the breaking ball for strikes, so he committed. Near impossible to hit under such circumstances. Hope Rodon keeps it up.
