Cleveland Rioters Shout "Death To America"

CLEVELAND -- Angry Clevelanders took to the street yesterday calling for foreign ballclubs to go home following six regular season losses and no wins against their playoff opponents, the New York Yankees.

"Death to America," some of the protesters chanted. "Death to foreigners."

Cleveland native and Yankees owner George Steinbrenner described the frustrated rioters as "scum" and "rabble." He pledged to send 50,000 ballpark security guards to the troubled region, adding, "those who want violence in the name of baseball, hatred in the name of baseball, have no place in the American League."
