We once wondered what we'd signed in Kei Igawa.
Now... we know.
The greatest goddamm pitcher in the history of Scranton and Wilkes Barre.
From Chad Jennings, our canary in Mineshaft City:
If Kei Igawa gets the win tomorrow, he'll move within one of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre franchise record for career wins. (My emphasis, to help children reading at home.)
Jennings wrote those words yesterday. Thus, yesterday is today.
Kei Igawa will soon become recorded history's all-time winningest Scrantonian/Wilkes Barrian.
Hear that, Joe Biden?
Igawa has 24 wins, two shy of the franchise record, currently held by THE Evan Thomas, who pitched in the dark era of the Red Barons.
Let's hope Yank starters can keep Kei in Triple A long enough to claim the prize.

This has all the makings of a career-altering cameo as a Michael Scott hired motivational speaker. Make it happen NBC, the man has a face for television.
Actually, I think that makes tomorrow , today. Since he said it yesterday.
Yesterday, even today, remains yesterday.
Although tomorrow, even if now today, will be yesterday on the day after.
I'm glad that Kei is finally paying off for us.
