A question

Last night's game hinged on Pedroia's 10-pitch walk in the 8th inning.

Can anybody ever remember Arod grinding out such an at-bat?

The 7th inning when he took like 7 pitches and almost went deep?

Alex has an OBP of nearly .400 to go along with his .230 BA. He can work pitchers with the best of them. If he was hitting his OBP would be insane.

The reason in big spots Alex wiffs sometimes is because its his job to swing the bat. He isnt paid to take pitches and walk in a big spot when the team needs runs. He has to swing the bat and hope 1/3 times he brings them home.
