Excerpts of conversation between Zach Greinke and Brian Cashman

According to Jon Heyman, Zach Greinke dined with Brian Cashman this winter, trying to argue that he could play in New York despite his dreaded social anxiety disorder. Now, through the miracle of technology, YOU ARE THERE...

Greinke: ... And that's why, Mr. Cashman, this longtime "Kansas City Royal" is waiting for his chance to pitch in the Big Apple!

Cashman: Wow! Well, Zach, I must say, we worried about your nervous thing, but after hearing this poised presentation... well, I'm super-impressed!

Greinke: Great! Then you'll make me a Yankee?

Cashman: Absolutely! Hey, let's celebrate! Waitress! A drink for Zach Greinke, the future Yankee.

Waitress: Wonderful. Mr. Greinke, and have you told A-Rod?

Greinke: mAaaaaayyyyyyyyy-RAH-RHA-RHA-RHAHHHHHHHHHD??

Cashman:  Yes, I'm just...

Greinke: W-w-w-w-what d-d-d--does HAY-HAY-HAY-RRHHHHA-have to d-d-d-d-do w-with it?

Cashman: Zach, she's was just-

Greinke:  AYH-AYE-AYY-RHOAHAHH...

Cashman: WAITER! SOMEBODY! CALL 9-1-1! GREINKE, SIT DOWN! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
