Ivan Nova, the Yank's best young pitcher in years, demoted to Scranton to make room for Phil Hughes, has rolled an ankle in a meaningless game, and is likely gone for the season.
This is Chin Ming Wong all over again.
At least we can't trade Nova to the Red Sox now.
However, our starting pitching depth is now destroyed, and the urgency for a stupid trade of our remaining young talent for some over-the-hill pitcher in the National League grows.
Stupidity rules.

Par for the course. They've been papering over their stupid moves with dollar bills for over a couple of decades now.
We're dumb, but we're rich.
Can you imagine how good we might be if we were smart and rich?
