James Shields, the best pitcher not throwing for Detroit, just finished his 11th game this season. Yes, eleven complete games. More than 200 strikeouts.
That means Shields has thrown more pitches this year than Hank Steinbrenner has smoked cigarettes. Next winter, watch Tampa give him a Rolex watch and put him on "Let's Make a Deal."
