UNBELIEVABLE..... SPICER, AND BILL DOUCHEBAG DE BLASIO LOVE THEIR BOSOX.

I REMEMBER DE BLASIO WOULDN'T WEAR A YANKEE JACKET AT A PHOTO OP IN THE BRONX.

HE'S THE FUCKING MAYOR OF NEW YORK!!!!

DE BLASIO HAS BEEN THE WORST OF THE WORST OF THE WORST, A DISASTROUS MAYOR.

YOU CAN ACTUALLY SMELL THE PISS OFF SOME OF THE STREETS, NOW, IN THE CITY.

LOTS MORE GARBAGE AND LITTERED STREETS VISIBLE SINCE HE TOOK OVER....

THANKS BILL.

I thought you didn't want to discuss politics here.

I don't want to discuss politics, but the smell of urine in the streets of New York is not a new phenomenon and certainly not one you can blame the current mayor for, unless he's the one who's going around pissing on everything.

and it is not a political statement, either, so much as a theatrical observation to say that the red sox got the better of the trump spokesmen if they got spicer and we're stuck with the mooch, who didn't last two weeks before imploding. in the language of sports, spicer is a plugger, not unlike our man Head Casely. He takes a beating every day, week after week, month after month, until you think he's so completely talentless that he will never do something right.

And then the next guy shows up -- Todd Frazier at third or the Mooch at the press briefing -- and you realize that, yes, indeed, things actually could have been worse.

I like the analogy, Tom!

It is true: things can always get worse!

I DON'T WANT TO TALK POLITICS HERE.... BUT.....

THE SMELL, (LITERALLY), IN THE CITY STREETS HAS GOTTEN MUCH WORSE SINCE BILL HAS TAKEN
OVER, AND I AM NOT EXAGGERATING..... I SAY IT EVERY TIME I'M THERE.

HIS LIBERAL POLICIES?....

YOU BETCHA.

I've lived here for over 40 years. That simply is not true. Stop trashing my city.

Oh - - you want Rudy back, so's he can put the squeeze on squeegee-men, all-caps?? Perhaps your commentary says more about WHERE in NYC you're frequenting than it does about Bill DeBlasio and his policies...

Not to mention that your popular-vote LOSER (BIGLY!!) tallied two hundred thousand (!!!) less new jobs in the first six miserable months than Obama did, in the first six months last year...stock market surge is irrational, and it's going to help mostly the top twenty percent.

Conclusion: we are WAAAAAY worse off since the Orange Orangutan took office.

LB (No J)

P.S. - - You started this one, ALL-CAPS.

PREPARE YOURSELF FOR THE ORANGE ORANGUTAN.

IT'S GOING TO BE ANOTHER 7 1/2 YEARS.

BANK ON IT.

NOT TRYING TO RILE ANYONE UP.

YOU GUYS DO THAT ON YOUR OWN.

SORRY, JUST TELLING IT LIKE IT IS.

STOCK MARKET SURGE, "IRRATIONAL" ????

HAHAHA..... UNBELIEVABLE.

Tom said...

Alan Greespan himself did call it "irrational exuberance ". He knows more about these things than most of us.

I can settle this:

    DeBlasio is an asshole.

    Trump is an asshole.

What questions do you have?

Tom said...

The list should be longer, LBJ, but that pretty much covers the waterfront and resolves the issue.

Not quite - - you forgot Rudy Giuliani, Mike Pence, the Orange Orangutan, and the entire Encyclopedia of Assholes, LBJ. (Not kidding - - there is one, though it's a bit out-of-date at this point).

More like about 1 more year, before he gets indicted, All-Caps...on multiple fronts. He can't wiggle out of this one so easily.

Oh, btw: Alan Greenspan is an asshole, too - - Ayn Rand-style - - but even a stopped clock is right twice a day.... LB (No J)

HAHA...WOW, anonymous, YOU REALLY HATE RUDY HUH?.... YOU MENTION HIM ALL THE TIME.

Anonymous said...

Yeah, all-caps, I don't like him much - - being a Yankee fan is about all he has going for him, in my book. He doesn't stand for anything that won't change in five minutes - - very much like his buddy, the Orange Orangutan - - who I really DO hate...with good reason, and having done a lot of research...

Consider this, though: where did George dig up Randy Levine & Lonn Trost - - two less-than-cyphers, who have both done the team irreparable harm, with a huge assist from Cash-Puss. Both of those afore-mentioned dorks are Rudy acolytes. Puke. Barf. LB (No J)

I regret my role in letting this get this far.

The way this country is right now, I can get into a political argument any time, anywhere—and I usually do. I come here to talk baseball.

ALL-CAPS, I think you're a genius when it comes to baseball. Seriously—I wish you were running our favorite ball team. And I thought you were right before, when you wanted to cut out the political talk. But you can't then be sounding off, and expect not to rile people up.

Maybe we should start an alternative blog: "WE LOVE THE YANKEES, BUT WE HATE EACH OTHER!" Until then, I think we should concentrate on the one man who is truly ruining our lives: Brian Cashman.

Please no more politics.
We have enough to be upset about and fight about with our baseball team.
Argue about politics somewhere else.
This should be the toys department.

HEY, I DON'T HATE ANYONE ON THIS SITE.

HOPE IT I CAN SAY THAT ABOUT EVERYONE ELSE, TOWARDS MYSELF.

POLITICS SHOULD BE A NO-NO ON HERE.

HOWEVER, IT NEEDS TO BE A NO-NO ON "BOTH" SIDES ACCOUNTS.....

.......AND THAT'S WHERE I AM AT A BIG DISADVANTAGE HERE.

NO MATTER.

GO YANKS.
