Ce n'est pas une intervention

This is NOT an intervention for Sir Didi, who I have it on good authority is NOT in a slump, courtesy of the Mystical Diet Coke section of my local bodega. Nor should it be considered in any way a tribute to Urban Farmer.

I keep waiting for the commemorative Coke bottles with the names of the 1986 Mets on them.

Blessed are you Rufus. Blessed.

YES IN FUCKIN' DIDI !!!!

Didi needs to be benched.

He looked tired rounding the bases.

Conserving energy he was. Wind and solar powered, he is. Very environmentally conscious.

Eureka! I've figured out Didi's slump. Wind and solar powered energy isn't enough, he needs Indian point energy. Call Cuomo and tell him to order to reactors be turned on, get those turbines spinning. We need Didi, and Didi needs Indian Point Energy Center.

Don't forget Comical Edison!

In other news, Carlton is having a pretty good game. 74 pitches through 4 with 2 hits.

DAWNING OF THE AGE OF FUCKIN' GERGORIUS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why does Bird have to suck so hard? Why? And he's injured all the time. How is he supposed to even be a major leaguer?

Wrap his precious little self in bubble wrap and ship Bird to Chernobyl.

Thank you, thank you, I will accept in advance all of your plaudits for not intervening in Didi's non-slump.

Need I remind you, that was not Greg Bird out there tonight, but BLP, Bird's Limitless Potential. It remains limitless.

And a rare sighting of Neil Walker! I think if there is one thing that absolutely everybody on this blog agrees on now, it's that Neil needs to go.

I'm going to look for a bottle marked "Brandon" tomorrow.

I LOVE THE PROSPECT OF GREG BIRD....

.....BUT IN REALITY....I'M JUST NOT FEELING HIM.

HE DOESN'T GET ANY HITS IF THEY AREN'T HOMERS.

I'M NOT SEEING ANY HITS TO THE OPPOSITE FIELD, NO LESS ANY HITS AT ALL.

NOT GOOD.

LETS NOT FORGET BRIAN "COOPERSTOWN" CASHMAN, THE GRAND HIGH EXALTED MYSTIC RULER OF ALL BASEBALL PROGNOSTICATION WHO PROCLAIMED BIRD IS "THE BEST HITTER IN OUR ORGANIZATION".

WE'RE WAITING........

BTW.....

INCREDIBLE WORK ON DIDI, HOSS!...

IMPECCABLE!

HoraceClarke66 said...

Thank you, ALL-CAPS! And Bird...yeah. It's early still, but...

Meanwhile, Walker must go. Now.

Well done Hoss. Every win is a big win.
