Aunt Gladys from the movie Weapons would make a Hell of a manager

She looks like a character from "A Boy and his Dog". AA, YOU are a real ballbuster! 😱

I don’t get out much. I thought that was the IBD woman. Sigh…..where has she gone?

And yes, anything is an improvement at this point

Let me entertain you all with a true short story that happened to me earlier today. I went to a new urologist - won't go into the details - and he was an older guy, mid 70s. He said, "Pull down your slacks and shorts...you've been to this rodeo before, right?"

End of story.

While I enjoyed your story, Bitty, I like the one about the Yankees hitting 3 home runs in the 1st inning a wee bit better.

I enjoyed Weapons and felt that Gladys would be the cure of the current disease.

She's likely going to win the O'scare for best supporting actress at the upcoming Academy Awards . . . (that's the actress that played the wife in Field of Dreams....)

Hey Bitty - I suppose I'd rather have a new 70 year old urologist say that to me than to tell a knock knock joke s he starts the more invasive portion of your exam . . .

Rodeo? Was the urologist wearing spurs?

TheWinWarblist said...

Belly to belly to belly? Get out the warming love gel? Urg...

Five runs isn’t enough…

TheWinWarblist said...

Five? Rodon just gave back two.

AboveAverage said...

rodon is a very generous man

Hinkey Haines said...

He is. He gives me heartburn, at no charge, every fifth game.

AboveAverage said...

What would you like to gift him in return, HH ?

ranger_lp said...

I think they have enough runs now…

Kevin said...

As long as I don't feel two hands on my shoulders...

The Most Home Runs in a Game in MLB History
The most home runs hit by a single team in a Major League Baseball game is 10, achieved by the Toronto Blue Jays on September 14, 1987. They accomplished this feat against the Baltimore Orioles, winning the game 18-3.

TheWinWarblist said...

We don not have enough runs. The Yankees scored 12 runs earlier this year and still lost. 18 runs MIGHT be enough runs.

Kevin said...

I see that the Red Sox lost to Baltimore in the eleventh... Hmmmm

I see that the Red Sox lost to Baltimore in the eleventh... Hmmmm

AboveAverage said...

Uhm, like, you know - that should be enough runs to win this game.

Everyone is free to switch off all media, run outside and bond with nature….

( or have a beer)

Maybe some quality time with Bitty’s new urologist & a fiber-optic scope.

8 home runs!

Let’s hope, in this case, 8 is enough.

BTR999 said...

My god, even Volpe got a hit!

Hinkey Haines said...

And they’re not all solo shots.

Late to the party...

I went to see my urologist last week and he told me I had to stop masturbating. I asked him why and he said, "So I can examine you."

That's pretty damned good, Doug!

HoraceClarke66 said...

Okay, I can't complain about a 13-3 win and 9 home runs, either. Except...how the hell is it that Tim Hill, our lefty specialist and one of the more trusted guys out of the pen, has to pitch an inning? Well, hell. A win is a win is a win.

Creamed Corn for everyone the next time we all get together !

Louis CK had a similar problem.....wait - maybe it wasn't in front of his doctor.
