I have no hope left.
We have been pummeled helpless.
The memories of summer beatings have resurfaced.
There is one more day of baseball for this Yankee team.
Next man up. All hands on deck. It matters not. Give Jesse a game.
The ash clouds are visible.
Time to get out of town.
We'll always have Boston.
Nos morituri te salutamus.

I mean Jasson
but he loves to go by Jesse
I'll be the guy frozen in time with his dog, maybe some pizza next to me, perfectly preserved by the Torontonian lava flow.
The last days of Yankee Fandom.
I could use a real Napoli pizza right now. Please don't judge me for using fork and knife. It's the original way.
Nevermind going for tenderloin.
Celebrating the fact that the Yankees won't lose tonight.
Neither do I. Npt with Genius Cashman running or ruining The Yankees organization.
Now wait a minutes, fellas!
You gotta have...heart!
Miles and miles and miles of heart!
When the odds are sayin' you'll never win
That's when the grin should start...
Well, Hoss, we do have the pitching advantage in the next two games, and we have beaten the Jays consistently when we play in the Bronx.
But if we win both of these home games, we have to go back to Toronto, where the Jays consistently kick the crap out of us.
Keefe had a very true, very sad thought in his latest:
" The narrative the Yankees are running out of time to win with Judge is now circulating as the Yankees are a loss away from watching their season end and it’s sickening. The Yankees haven’t won in the postseason in Judge’s career because of Judge! He has driven in two runs in the playoffs: the first was an incorrectly-scored base hit and RBI that Jarren Duran dropped and the second was a single on Sunday with the Yankees trailing by 11 runs in the seventh inning. How about Judge does what Story did in the Wild Card Series, or what Guerrero Jr. has done in the ALDS? How about he does something, anything at the plate to drive in a run that doesn’t fall out of a fielder’s glove or isn’t when the score is a double-digit difference."
Sure, that's true, JM. But I'm talking about something more than statistics. Why, I'm talking about spirit, and guts, and, and, MOXIE!
It's like this, fellas:
You've gotta have...hope
Mustn't sit around and mope!
Nothin's half as bad as it may appear
Wait'll next year—uh, I mean, next game—and hope!...
C'mon, you know what I'm talking about!...
Hell, it's a lot easier to win three in a row than four in a row! Good thing this is a best of five series. Just win one freaking game. That punches the ticket to your next game. Rinse and repeat 'til the job is done.
I have heart. Not sure about the team. What they really need is leadership and focus and I KNOW they don't have that.
