Vlad the Impaler a/k/a Fat Dracula is back again to torment us.

Well, looks like this one is over already. Quick one today, eh?

Hopefully, this is the end of Stanton & the Yankees. He can take over LeMahieu’s dead money slot next year. If there is a next year.

Another RISP failure by Chisolm. Please let him be somewhere else next year.

At least it looks like he's been instructed to NEVER challenge a call again.

The Martian is a liability in LF, but they're playing Hideous Ramos?!?
And batting him 3rd?
🤡🌏

Jizz had the ball squirt out of his glove.

They have Volpe playing 2B in AAA.

I don't care if he doesn't hit.

Arias was 3-6 in a double header for somerset.

Have him play 3B.

How about a hit already?

AboveAverage said...

Howabout a no-hit already?

Not to differ with you Mr Firefly but that would be a bit more memorable …

AboveAverage said...

Jazz actually made a good play.

Impossible

Impressive

Boy o Boy Cease sure radiates calm confidence out there on the mound.

Rufus T. Firefly said...

Wrong team.

Exactly

More clutch hitting

ranger_lp said...

Lombard doing a Volpe…

AboveAverage said...

Maybe the “clutch hitting” will continue

Rufus T. Firefly said...

Garcia comes through.

Rufus T. Firefly said...

Would have been better if Hideous was on base.

"(One Toke Over the Line) was performed in early 1971 by Gail Farrell and Dick Dale on The Lawrence Welk Show, which Brewer credited with giving the duo "more publicity than we could pay for." Welk described the song as a "modern spiritual" and later blamed his network ABC for forcing him to incorporate the song into the show, which would be a factor in his leaving the network that year."

Carl J. Weitz said...

And-a-one-a-and-a-two-a. I guess Old Lawrence thought the reference " Sweet Jesus" made it a spiritual song and had no idea what toke meant. Actually, by 1971, Welk was living on borrowed time. That was part of the acid rock/psychadelic music decade. Who the fuck wanted to listen to polka music, other than the old geezers?

One toke over the line...

Another day, another injury. Ah, well.

No, the Geek GM is responsible for the torment. He brought in no hit Ramos and teh manager insists on batting him third in the lineup, daily.
