A BBC documentary claims that after the tragic 1969 Altamont rock concert, several Hells Angels boated to the Hamptons with the intent of killing Rolling Stones front-man Mick Jagger at his vacation home. A storm came up, and they never made it. Some excerpts from the conversations.
"I don’t have an address, Ed. But if I had to guess, it would be the shoreline mansion with the giant inflatable phallus."
"It's a gas-gas-gas, my ass! He ain’t good enough to carry Jerry’s guitar strap! And the next guy who says otherwise goes overboard!"
"Andy, think of it this way: If we take him out now, he'll never have to attempt disco."
"Ralph, no. You can’t have him autograph your chaps. There’s this little thing they call 'evidence.'"
"It’s gonna be neat! I get say, “Please to beat you!” Then Sal chimes in, “Hope you get my aim.'”
"Wait, wait, wait, guys! I just had a thought... “Ruby Tuesday’s."
"Remember, guys, we are professionals. Now, who’s leaving the Number Two?"
"Yeah, Jerry, yeah, we heard you. Christ, everybody on Long Island heard you: You’d rather kill Rod Stewart. You can't always get what you want."
