Remember what Dick Cheney said when a reporter indicated that the people of America think we are headed in the wrong direction; that the war is bankrupting us and our children and our grand children; that we seem to have angered every former ally we ever had; that we can't fund Social Security or Medicare; that we won't give 40 million US citizens' children health care; that we never do anything right in foreign policy; that we are abusing our soldiers and their families; that only the super rich have done well in the last 8 years; that the constitution no longer seems to mean anything; that the dollar is now worth spit?
