Pete Alonso hit on the wrist by a pitch in the first inning tonight. By the end of the game...he had already been x-rayed. What kind of super, futuristic technology do the Mets have access to??? Are they in contact with aliens???!
It's negative. They are going to do further tests, just to be sure, but at the end of the game Alonso was calmly informing everyone that it all looked good, no reason to worry.
Weirdly, no one withheld information, issued cryptic statements, or sat a needed player while refusing to call anyone up. What kind of a franchise does such stuff?
@ AA, I watched "The Pit and the Pendulum" with Lance Henriksen. Stuart Gordon, director. IMO was only about 2.5-3/5 stars. So an average movie. Very good costumes. Good nude scene with lovely actress. Some gruesome torture scenes. That's about it. If you haven't seen it, no, I can't recommend it. That's an hour and 37 minutes of my life I won't be getting back. I suppose it was better than the 3-2 Yankee near-no-hit loss, though. Nice curves on that brunette wench!

Japanese sci-fi circa 2001. Thought provoking movie, if you can find it.

Sequel coming out, No Contracts for Old Men
I suggest for your viewing pleasure: South Park, featuring "Blame Canada"
Good one, Kev!
Going back and forth between the Mets and the Yankees-Red Sox, myself.
I may watch a video of a dental implant I had done 9 years ago.
The third act is a bloody good time.
Stay safe, you huckleberries in the battlefront zones.
Don't breath unless absolutely necessary.
I hear bourbon is great smoke filter. Let me know how that works out.
