You go, Lugo.

Somebody sounds snippy...

“I don’t care, but sometimes it would be nice to say something positive. But all the time it’s negative things, you know? Sometimes, you know, people should say something that’s positive. But every time it’s something negative . . . bring it up, bring it up, bring it up. Why?

“I understand you (the media) are going to write whatever you want . . . but I come here every day and bust my ass . . . if things don’t work out sometimes, that’s the way it’s going to be. You understand? But sometimes you bring up the same things . . . You get tired of that.”

Who said it...?

a) Hillary Clinton.
b) Paula Abdul.
c) Rupert Murdoch.
d) Osama bin Laden.
e) Julio Lugo.

What's the problem? Ten errors in 35 games? That's only about 55 per year, not even close to the all-time single season record of 98, set by Cleveland's John Gochnaur in 1903.

The Gammonites are out of control. A guy makes an error. He doesn't deserve to be humiliated. Haven't the writers ever goofed-up? It's not fair. Let's hope Julio doesn't lose focus.

10 errors in 35 games?
So what?
The Red Sox dugout is so full of brotherly love that Papelbon kills water cooler instead of Julio Lugo.
