I could watch this over and over.

There was a good mini documentary of the Pine Tar Incident on some anniversary of the event or other. I'll try to find a link.

Concerning running out there like a madman, Brett said in his interview "I don't know what the hell I was trying to do. McClelland was like 6'4" and he would have kicked my ass."

There's also a good shot of a letter that Richard Nixon wrote to Brett, before the umpire's call was overturned, indicating that Nixon thought Brett had gotten a raw deal.

Pure fun.

I REMEMBER FLOATING ON AIR AFTER THAT.

UNTIL THAT DAMN LEE MCPHAIL RUINED OUR JOY.

YOU KNOW, THE OLDER I GET, THE MORE I TELL MYSELF HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN CALLED OUT.

WHY HAVE THE RULE, IF YOU DON'T CALL HIM OUT THERE?

IT WAS PURE FUN THOUGH LIKE LBJ SAYS.
