Shocker: The return of Setback Sevy will be delayed

He missed his rehab start last night. So it goes.

Oh, well...

Jasson Dominiquez went 3-for-3 in a game yesterday.
He's hitting .245.

And Clint Frazier went 1-for-3, somewhere.
Will we see him in September? Or lose him... to a summer love.

Gil Patterson will pitch a game before Sevi & Devi pitch another MLB game.

Can't say I'm surprised, but very sad to hear. I had (pipe) dreams of Sevvy coming back to take over the role of closer. But yeah, sadly, I don't think we'll ever see him on a major-league mound again.

As for The Martian, he is the Yankees superstar of the future, and always will be.

Carl, save up your nickels and dimes - looks like the suds are on you.

All we are saying is give Gil a chance.

LOL, Dick...I'm running out of time. With my luck, he will only make one start.

If that

Would somebody please tell me what “didn’t feel right” means?

I’m making a judgement that these overpriced prima donnas are loafing. I’m beginning to think that if you put much money in a man’s pocket that he will become more concerned with enjoining his leisure activities, like golf (I’m looking at you - what was that guys name?) than earning his contract.

And that the Yankees have become a rest home for fat cats

"Brian Cashman’s skill in impromptu bullpen crafting has kept Yankees afloat" I had to laugh when I saw this headline on Pinstripe Ally. Have they watched a game this season? It must have been written by Cashman's brother.

Dick...I would assume "doesn't feel right" means a tight or weak/painful arm, maybe in the same area as the surgery. I do not think he is malingering in any way. Probably quite the opposite.

I heard that they are sending Sevy to the Ellsbury Rehabilitation Center and he is expected to resume baseball activities as soon as everything feels right.

So far, Sevy has made $1,967,245, for every inning he has pitched during his current contract. Not that I'm counting.

Nice work if you can get it. After he retires he is going to run for the US Congress so he can maintain his lifestyle. He is accepting campaign donations now.

Hopefully he didn’t injure his rotator cuff. From the video of his last start, he looked to be throwing with all arm, barely extending his front landing foot at all, presumably because the groin isn’t 100% yet or he’s afraid of injuring it again.
