Kudos all around, guys!

Intentional or not, the old Jets back page was kind of genius, Duque. Reminding us once again that...it can ALWAYS be worse!

“As previously reported, manager Aaron Boone’s job is safe. (Brian) Cashman still considers Boone an excellent manager and is said not to blame him for the team’s recent struggles. It is extremely difficult to imagine the front office wanting to move on from Boone after the season, even if the Yankees fail to reach the postseason; the one unknown there is what owner Hal Steinbrenner would do in that scenario."

Sure it can get messy, but we got this. KC is awful, they might be worse than OAK. If we lose this one…

I’d rather watch the Keene Swampbats in the rain.

Rizzo takes some of the weakest hacks, no wonder he hasn’t gone yard in forever. Get him out of the lineup. Even the panty boyz in analytics can’t be supporting him.

In constructing his roster, the imbecilic cushman forget the virtues of LH. Power hitting at YS.

Apparently, his brains came out with his hair.

We're ahead? I have to rewind...

Wow, McKinney hit a three run job. Impressive.

And Gleyber. Whaddya know.

Who is the fuck is McKinney? Laundry. Pathetic even in a win. Core Four is Nine Nobodies.

Had the honor of meeting Tony Bennett, maybe 7, 8 years ago. Helped him up a staircase. Real class act.

My wife and also went to see him at Radio City Music Hall in October, 1998—little did we know it would be the first game of the World Series. Tony went to the Stadium to sing the National Anthem, then went to Manhattan to do his set. When it was over, we went home to watch Knoblauch and Tino pull out the game.

Good year!

As 2023 a win as you'll ever see!

Exactly Steve, we’ll put!

HC, very nice remembrance of the iconic Tony Bennet.

Only 5 hits against the lowly Serfs, I mean Royals. They certainly helped us with some clumsy baserunning.
Stanton so slow and clumsy in RF. Jeter really pantsed cashmsn on that deal.
Speaking of Jeter, Volpe Jeter-esque on the last play of the game.
Good all around game by McK.
Rizzo pathetic again, with some of this worse swings this side of a children’s T-ball game.

Take this win and run. We should sweep this series, but would it mean anything in the long run?

Hollow win…

HoraceClarke66 said...

Thanks, 999.

And yeah, what does it take to convince them that Rizzo is badly, perhaps permanently, hurt?

Stanton at .193. The man still has two more, full years at $32 mill, then 2 MORE years for a combined $44 mill...then he gets a $10 mill buyout.

Flabbergasting.
