Left-handed pitchers. Left-handed power bats. Leadoff hitters who get on base. Starters who could throw more than 75 pitches. A consistent lineup. Coaches who didn't speak like politicians. Caring about winning, not only money. Not trying to "launch" the ball, merely hit into the gaps. Taking pitches and working counts.

Didn't these things used to be a thing?

Whoever you are - Barney, Statboy, EBD - it's not "the free exchange of ideas" that people despise about you. Not one bit. Not one bit. It's the disgusting, ad hominem attacks and insults against others that people loathe. I can excuse - with some difficulty - a lack of a sense of humor, but these personal attacks are disgusting and you JUST DON'T SEEM TO GET IT. You just can't help being an asshole to people.

Is it meds? A personality disorder? I don't care. You don't seem to be able to NOT attack people. It has NOTHING to do with an exchange of ideas.
