The Yankees Can't Win It All Until.....

.......Giancarlo Stanton has no at bats.

The guy is the personification of failure in clutch moments. Today, he had the tying run at third and the lead run at second with one out.  Any contact with the ball is likely to tie the game.

But we all knew he would strike out.

He didn't come close on any of his swings. For the day, he was 0-4 with three strike outs.

Do you know what happens when a batter strikes out?  Nothing.  Runners don't advance.  No pressure is put on the defense.  The clock just keeps on ticking.

And Giancarlo bats 5th in out line-up.  He is supposed to hit.  He has 128 strikeouts so far this year, and leads all baseball statistics with 4-strikeout games ( golden sombreros).

I am of the opinion the New York Football Giants cannot win anything with Daniel Jones as their Quarterback.

I am equally convinced that the New York Yankees cannot win anything with Giancarlo Stanton as their designated hitter.

Giancarlo could also be called "Jeter's Curse"

PS - these idiots should not have been celebrating last night. they should have been sitting around, grim-faced, and saying shit like "It's just one more game. We still have to wake up tomorrow and play. We haven't done anything yet. We only celebrate after we win the series." This "everybody gets a trophy" bullshit is wearing thin. Champagne for WHAT??? Seriously, you kept breathing while walking. Fuck this shit. These guys don't act like a championship-level team. Who's going to start the first game of the first post season series, Cole? Who's going to bat first? Who's going to close? Wait, is that an echo I hear in this slot canyon? Who's going to close? Who's going to make key in-game decisions? Who's going to show up in the owner's box and rally the troops on with his fearsome scowl? Who's going to blow Randy Levine?

Many of the Yankees are the personification of failure. With a man on third and less than two outs, the Yankees players swing up and for home runs. This will equate to little in the playoffs.

13 Bit.....all great questions for which I have no answers, except the last one that is very easy: Brian Cashman.

I disagree about Stanton. He had a shit night. Fine. He's inconsistent. Sure. He has 64 RBI in 106 games. Not Judgian, but if only everybody on this team had that kind of ratio.

Stanton is still a net positive but would prefer wells and Chisholm to bat ahead of him. They re better at driving in runners in scoring position. Stanton bats 6th or 7th
