'Tis a silly reference to the recent Paul O'Neill-LaTroy Hawkins number flap. (Papers in Mexico haven't been keeping up with this? For shame.)
LaTroy stared the year wearing No. 21, got mercilessly booed by the folks who wanted Paulie's number retired, and switched to No. 22. See, the name of the movie is "21," and ... well, you get it by now.
By the way, Peter Abraham's LoHud blog take on the number thing is here: http://yankees.lhblogs.com/2008/04/16/shameful-end-to-the-21-saga/

I'm not sure, but I know Ian Kennedy and his agent are targeting Baskin Robins.
Hey Bern,
I know I am completely out of it.
Also, I spend a lot of time with Edwar and that fat pitcher we got for Jared in South Mexico, drinking worms.
But what is this Paul Oneil post all about? Is he in the band? The movie?
Inquiring minds want to be u to date.

Thanks, Bern
So , maybe if we could get Cano #21, he would start hitting better.
Gotta be 21 to drink beer here. That's why they booed. They wanted beer.
