WASHINGTON _ Advisors to Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama say he will "make a major announcement tomorrow, which will include a name," prompting Beltway pundits to explode with speculation.
Reporters say the planned news conference indicates Obama will at last name his pick for next Saturday's Yankee starting pitcher, ending weeks of uncertainty that has dogged his campaign.
Leading candidates include the newly bespectacled RH Phil Hughes, former Met trade bait Victor Zambrano, newly re-injured Carl Pavano, Japanese strongman Kei Igawa and Delaware Senator Joseph Biden.
