Get Ready For 0-2, But Don't Panic Yet

AJ is all set for one of his 3-4 inning masterpieces against Boston, the team he was supposed to be able to defeat with regularity.

But there are problems. Or, to be more accurate, there will be problems tonight.

Firstly, he can't stand having Jorge catch for him, despite the kissy face words of reconciliation we have heard in those, in-depth, completely candid locker room player interviews on YES.

Secondly, he still is a two pitch pitcher. He worked on some loopy new pitch in spring training, but watch him try to get it over the plate. After he gives up 5 runs in the first inning, he'll abandon it. By the way, doesn't this sound like a formula for a relief pitcher, not a starter?

Boston took the first 8 from us last year and we still won, so why worry now?

Sergio or Ace will pitch well enough in relief, but we won't score enough against Lester to get back in this game after AJ's, " non pie-in-the-face," outing.

And we have Andy tomorrow. Who, if he can go 8 innings, gives us a bridge to Mariano.

Chan Ho Park, by the way, is the laughing stock of the National League.

I gather that is news only to Joe and Mr. Cashman.

In my little fantasy world, I was kinda hoping that Chan Ho would become our bullpen savior this year and then do something heroic in the World Series -- all so that the former site of Yankee Stadium would, when all the rubble is cleared, be renamed Chan Ho Park. Or possibly Chan Ho Park Park?

Anyway, it's not gonna happen, so who cares.

I would prefer, " HO HO " Park were we to go in that direction.
