I live in New England, behind enemy lines. I had to drive 15 minutes this morning to drop off a watch to be repaired.
During my brief drive, I heard the following on Boston Sports radio:
- The Red Sox have not won two games in a row since April.
- Why the hell did Craig Breslow let Nathan Eovaldi leave? Just so we could get Buehler? Buehler showed us all what he's got last night. Eovaldi was good and he wanted to stay here.
- Craig Breslow needs to be fired.
- When John Henry had to fly to Colorado to calm down Rafael Devers personally, he should have fired Cora on the spot. The guy's not doing his job managing this team.
- Alex Cora needs to be fired.
- Devers should shut up and play first base.
- Last night was an embarrassment. None of them know what they're doing. So many errors this year. Who's taking care of the fundamentals?
- That's all on the manager. Alex Cora needs to be fired.
And that was all within 15 minutes.
It's great to be alive, isn't it?

I thankfully no longer commute and have satellite in the truck, so I can avoid the carmine's fanboys now.
HowEVAH, I used to enjoy the proposed trades on the airwaves which usually included a carmine second stringer swapped for a couple of Allstars. The water from the quabbin reservoir is obviously delivered via lead lined pipes.
Their 4 teams have won, what, 13 championships this century? They can suck it.

To AA and JM: I got there only to learn that the diminutive Portuguese man ("Manny") who used to do all my shop's repairs passed away. As if it was a sign, they wound the watch and it started working again. At least I have a little time to find a replacement for Manny.
Boone is the worst ever. The stupid Red Sox fans don't know how good they have it.
Anyway, Cora will find a new way to cheat to victory. Notice how well the fucking Tigers in Detroit are doing. Anyone think that asshole A.J. Hinch has found a new way to cheat? I knew it was just a matter of time. Both Hinch and Cora should've been banned for life from any job in a major league dugout.
