Jesus Appeareth in Charleston

Jesus Montero, that is.

Tonight, the future Yank savior/catcher wenteth 1/5 with an RBIeth and two whiffeths, launching his first full season of pro ball.

In Scranton, we turned Lehigh Valley into our own personal Moosic.

Kei Igawa, the man from Japan, twirled six no-hit innings.

Scott Patterson gave up a single, and then Edwar - YES, ALPHONSO, EDWAR RAMIREZ, THE EDWAR -- slammed the door shut.

Edwar did regain some of his dazzling form when we went to the South Mexico dirt field league for a week.

However, he could always get out guys at AA and AAA. He even got them out in the Independent leagues ( fast pitch and slow ).

But here is the issue: SO ?????

What does he do in the BIGS? Gets whacked. And whacked. And then he walks guys. And gets whacked.

Trade him now for a draft pick, I say.

Frankly, he is better with me down South drinking tequila and chasing birds than he is in the uniform.
