Farewell, old chum.

On those teams, he was my fave... in case anyone ever wondered.

But you always lied about his age.

I remember when he first appeared at the Stadium, and went down the first base line to the flag pole, shaking hands and saying hello to Yankee fans.

He had some huge wins for us.

And his stirrups were reminiscent of the great old Yankee teams.

Hope the Yankees honor him in due course.
