Seeking to dirty-up IT IS HIGH END HATE HERE campaign, NY Post sleaze scandal drags Pedro Martinez' good name through the mud

It has to do with a sleazebucket New York Post editor -- (sorry about the redundancy) -- who is being sued for walking his dog at an office party.

It's typical Post stuff: Stripper clubs, boinking-by-mouth, rubbing Wally against a babe's hip -- nothing Alphonso hasn't done with Mrs. Bloomberg -- but a former edit-hottie wants to take Uncle Rupert to the barn. No wonder the guy hates women. Anyway... wouldn't you know... just when Pedro Martinez yesterday was nearing a 25 percent approval rating, this tumbled out in the wash...
This from the write-up:

Guzman (IIH NOTE: THIS IS NOT YANK SUPER-PINCH RUNNER FREDDIE GUZMAN, BUT THE FEMALE EMPLOYEE DOING THE SUING) alleges that while at the paper, misogynistic and racist behavior was directed at her specifically. According to the complaint, she was called "sexy" and "beautiful" and referred to as "Cha Cha #1" by Les Goodstein, the senior vice president of NewsCorp. After doing an interview with Major League Baseball star Pedro Martinez, she says Allan asked her whether the pitcher "had been carrying a gun or a machete during the interview" -- a line Guzman said was racist and offensive.

Obviously, they're out to get Pedro, just as he was on the verge of being forgiven by IT IS HIGH.
The last thing they want is for love to rule the world.
If love rules, they'll sell no papers.
