Oh, once upon a time in Arkansas,
A lefty rich and getting richer sat by his mansion door
He was waiting for a travelin dork with bucks to spare
A fellow from New York that he'll play to scare
The fellow arrived breathing hard, but the lefty didn't care,
There'd always be others like him, the type not rare,
For sure lefty would land a hefty windfall
Nothing could ever bother that man at all
The New Yorker would bring a big check that day,
He'd also try to sweep Mrs. Lefty's hardened heart away;
Scarred from nasty jokes of evil stadium blokes
Depending on the dough would be a safer bet
As the blokers' jokes didn't seem to make lefty fret.
So the dorker said "Now the way it seems to me,
You'd better come east," said he.
But the lefty said as he pitched low and away,
Not just yet for now, I'll wait for even higher pay."
