You're missing the big picture here, Alphonso.

NYCFC drew 19,198 fans for their second home playoff game of the season.

Sure, the Pigeons might not make it past this round. But they've already drawn almost 35,000 fans for the postseason alone. The scuttlebutt is also that the Syracuse-Notre Dame game on the 17th is already sold out, and then there's the Pinstripe Bowl.

Hell, for that matter, they could always do another one of those things where they flood the and have a hockey game.

The money is flowing in to Hal and family. Things are GREAT!

Cashman is talking about bringing Happy back (born 10/19/82) -- and CCS as well (born 7/21/80).

So the rotation might well have two really old pitchers in it, including one who can't field bunts. At least, until one or both ends up on the DL (one or more times each). Since Tanaka and Sevy are already on the hook for '19, this seems to mean the Yankees aren't going to chase more than one good pitcher in a trade or a free agent signing.

The signs are ominous, aren't they? It's less than a week after the W.S., and already Cashmoney says he's gonna keep CC Sabathia, has already inked Gardy, and apparently will keep Happ if the $$$ works out. Jeez!

See:

....note that lower in the article, it says CCS had surgery on his knee last month.

Hal needs to see a doctor to change his meds. He's not right thinking...unless you want to tank one season to get a high draft choice, high impact player.
