You guys are already wearing me out.
Here is what circling the pond three times has yielded:
1. Cole has a nasty that will require a lot of rest.
2. Judge has a nasty that no one discusses
3. DJ has a bruise on his foot that will keep him out beyond opening day. (Did he drop a stone crab on it?)
We only have players left for third whose names begin with Oswaldo ( although " meat sauce " does play third).
And what just became of our back-up first baseman? Maybe Ben Rvtvltbnktd ( Swans can't spell Dutch names ) can hang on as third catcher, and second first baseman. Making him the number one substitute.
And we are not into the season yet.
Good thing Hal and Brian have made contingency plans.
Time for a cool one.

Good thing we traded all those pitchers and did nothing about the infield and not enough about the rotation. We can always recall Everson Pariah.
So let me get this straight. Snell CANT do a 5yr pact for 35mil per yr from the Yanks cuz he wants longer deal....BUT he can take a 2 yr deal for 31 mil from the Giants.... I hate Cash as much as the rest of us...but this is getting ridiculous at this point.
No one wants to trade or play for the Yankee for anything less than robbery which is crazy

Joe, the devil's probably in the details, but "Cashman is bad at his job" has a lot of explanatory power. Alienating Boras to the point that he won't credibly deal with the Yankees may make Cashman feel smart and tough...in a Fredo Corleone "I'm smaht" kind of way...but it's bad for the Yankees, and their fans.
Coukd be that Snell wanted to stay on west coast in NL West's biggish ballparks. Cy Young or no, returning to the AL East's launching pads might not be too attractive to an aging lefty who puts a lot of guys on base.
Alphonso, I am sure you are kidding. You just gave me the creeps. The question I ask is: "can the peanut vendor put on a glove on his left hand?"
