Yankuracy in Meda: America's Watchdog on the "Blame Yankees First" Press

They're at it again. The pro-Redsock media thugs can't stand it that America's Team would enjoy a week of peace, especially during the holidays. So whom do they target?
.
Our captain.
.
"Derek Jeter cheated New York out of millions in taxes by claiming he lived in Florida when he really was living it up in Manhattan, state officials say."
.
What's particularly disturbing is how efficiently the Boston dirt machine trowels the slush from its undergarments, then pitches it to the pigeonlike masses. It's a wonder Curt Schilling didn't get a byline.
.
Right now, our Yank brass and their families are struggling to hold together the great Wild Card Champions of 2007.
.
Obviously, some forces out there don't want it to happen.

You're right, el duque. I should add that my "Jetergate" post played right into the enemy's hands. I apologize to anyone I innocently offended through their choice.

Now I look at it this way: Barry Bonds lied under oath. He soiled the office of Career Home Run Champion. But all the liberals can talk about is Derek Jeter, 24/7. Talk about selective moral outrage!

Anybody calls him Derek Cheater around me, they'll lose teeth.

By the way, don't beat yourself up about it, Old Warrior. They get inside people's heads and turn them. Look what they did to Lupica.

Don't be surprised if, in the end, the source of the story is Scott Boras. Once again, manipulating the media to take the focus off his humilating defeat at the hands of the great negotiator, Stubby.

I'm thinking George Mitchell.

Either one is a suspect.

One has loyalty to the Redsocks

One has loyalty only to himself.

Governor Spitzer?

This wasn't part of the life I imagined.

This is not accurate. Jeter's been living in my basement in Boca Raton!

Noe of this Jeter business matters.

At best, it is a one hour diversion from the horror of Arod being a Yankee again.

At worst, it is meaningless.
