On Monday, June 16, 2008, we at IIH, IIF, IIc attempted to be humorous.
We failed.
While projecting our rotation for the 2008 playoffs, we wrongfully -- oafishly -- placed 2008 Cy Young Award winner Mike Mussina for game five.
We assumed that Hughes, Kennedy and Chamberlain would have the hot hands, and that Chien-Ming Wang would be healthy. We thought ourselves funny.
In fact, we were fools.
No, we are fools. Ugly, fat fools.
Let it be known that our starting rotation for the 2008 Playoff Series shall be as follows:
Game 1: Mike Mussina.
Game 2: Andy Pettitte.
Game 3. Chien-Ming Wang or Joba Chamberlain (to be decided.)
In the interests of integrity, of which we value nothing more highly, we will not project a game 4 starter.
There will be no game 4. By then, we will be into Round 2.
We at IIH, IIF, IIc apologize for the blunder, which was capricious to the point of being priaplasmic.
It will not happen again.

You have our support for now, Duckman, but tread carefully going forward.
Didn't I read that Hank wantd Jeter to pitch the opening game of the playoffs?
Huh?
Huh?
