Morrissey and Alan White wrote it.
Morrissey and Nancy Sinatra released it, separately, in 2004.
In 2008, Richie Sexson could rightfully sing the beautiful Let Me Kiss You to the front office of his newest team -- if he could only risk exposing his tragic heart. Which he can't, of course. He's a jock.
Read the stunningly precognitive lyrics, play the video, feel the pain of the Yankees' newest DH/1B.
There's a place in the sun
For anyone who has the will to chase one. And I
I think I've found mine
Yes, I do believe I have found mine
So, close your eyes
And think of someone you physically admire
And let me kiss you
Let me kiss you
I've zig-zagged all over America
And I cannot find a safety heaven
Say, would you let me cry on your shoulder
I've heard that you'll try anything twice
So, close your eyes
And think of someone you physically admire
And let me kiss you
Let me kiss you
But then you open your eyes
And you see someone that you physically despise
But my heart is open
My heart, it is open to you.

Here's hoping for a miracle. Maybe Sexson will work out. Smetimed when guys put on the pinstripes magic happens.
Love the blog. Keep it up.
I think his .218 average will bring up the team overall average.
Old habit dies hard, and Yankees' players tend to melt down right after a win. So he might be struck out on three pitches more than once in today's game.
Let's start praying, fans.
Yanks win, TB win, BOS loses. I LOVE the 2nd half so far!
