"The entire place has an industrial feel. Beyond the unfriendly security guards, the structure itself does not make you feel welcome..."

... There is something very cold and gray about it."

Keep in mind: This from diehard Yank fans.

I'll reserve judgment until I actually get there, though my skepticism as to the Interactive Yankeetainment Experience is hard to hide. I will say, though, that the staff in the old Stadium were not exactly sweetness and light either. That's an organizational disease, not a problem with the building.

As for the coldness, that's what happens when you sell your soul, but after a few years' worth of moments and memories, I'm hopeful that some of it will abate.

Duque,

I have terrace 306 row 2 and can barely see the CF wall. You are so right about the bleachers. They're great apart from the one's next to the bar. I may be the first guy who vacates his "upper box" seat to sneak into the bleachers.

It's a beautiful example of German architecture circa 1932.

Bold.

Stark.

Imposing.

I read somewhere the dugouts are equipped with uberbenches, things that actually do the sitting for the player so they can sit on the behnch while actually standing nearby practicing their swing or getting sunflower seed shells unstuck from their teeth.
