This is starting to scare us.
John Sterling barely warbled tonight, even as his team won it's seventh in a row.
Is John bored? He sure sounds bored.
Or is he hurt? Did that attack by the Bearded Bleater take something out of him?
Either way, 4.46 seconds is the shortest WinWarble this season. Trouble.

I used a stopwatch and got far less than that. 1.9 on the warble and 3.9 on the whole thing. What is the official length? The B in ballgame to the end of win?
The warble should only count for when he's actually warbling.
It was right at the first baseman. You cant expect him to sprint that warble out after being used 4 days in a row with 3 on high stress walkoffs.
Our WinWarbles are measured according to the Scientific standards established in 1972 at the WinWarble Conference in Zurich.
The time begins when he says, "Ballgame over..." and it ends when with the second utterance of "Yankees win."
Measurement is done in accordance with WavePad software, which is accredited by the International Association of WinWarble Engineers.
Sterling needs to retire. Or be replaced for most of the game.
Maybe just let him do he signature IIH, IIF, IIc for fly balls that get close to the warning track and the win warble.
Maybe it could be like Sinatra, on tape and only after wins.
