Over at River Ave Blues... Mike Axisa around 3 p.m. noted that the Yankees dropped Chad Gaudin and Royce Ring from the 40 man roster and added 23-year-old single A outfielder Melky Mesa.

While I agree that ponytails are very nice hair style, 2010 Javy raised the perceived value of every player named Melky for the next 3 years.
