Adam, uhm, Olbewankanobe. Whatever. The day we drafted that guy, I said, "TRADE HIM. I'M NOT LEARING HOW TO SPELL HIS NAME."
Best part of the deal: We got Justin Maxwell... which means...
The Greatest John Sterling Home Run Call Ever.
Yes, I am not talking about a Text Message or a Grandy Gram. Surely, you know already where we're going. You thought of it within seconds - no, miliseconds - of yesterday's trade. John Sterling probably called Cashman and suggested the deal, simply due to this call. Hell, President Obama probably whispered it to Sterling in the White House after the 2009 World Championship.
Justin Maxwell's Home Run Call:
Come on. You know what it is.
You'll have to click to see it, and then you'll be mad at yourself for doing it.
"BANG BANG! MAXWELL'S SILVER HAMMER
COMES DOWN ON (PITCHER'S NAME)'S HEAD."
COMES DOWN ON (PITCHER'S NAME)'S HEAD."

That's kind of a recent reference for John; it's barely 42 years old. I think he'll say:
"MAXWELL LEAVES THE HOUSE! MMM! GOOD TO THE LAST DROP!"
True, it's too new for John.
I would think John would use,
"It's Justin Time, he homered Just in time...
I think Reese nailed it.
But will John ever actually have a reason to use it?
