To the Editor:
I just returned home from the Syracuse Chiefs vs.
Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees game. After a short rain delay, I was
treated to some great baseball. My problem was that during the rain delay, we
were "treated" to the New York Yankees broadcast on the big screen. Really?
Stephen Strasburg was pitching shut-out innings for the Chiefs' parent club, the
Washington Nationals, at the time.
Perhaps the television company that is in business with the
Chiefs could offer them a discount rate on the MLB baseball package.
