Villone, Nieves, Abreu... In an alternative universe, here's how we did yesterday

It hurts to think this.

Ron Villone pitched 1/3 of an inning for Washington. No hits or walks.

Jason Giambi hit two HRs, his second and third of the year, for Oakland.

LaTroy Hawkins continued to excel for the Astros. He pitched an inning and a third, giving up no runs. His ERA: 2.40.

Gary Sheffield: 2-5 for the Mets.

Dave Weathers pitched a scoreless inning for the Reds.

Nick Green went 0-1 for the Redsocks.

Nick Johnson filled in as a late-inning replacement for Adam Dunn for the Nationals. Nick's batting .317. Go figure.

Bobby Abreu: 0-3 for the Angels.
