He pitched yesterday against the always dangerous Javier Castillos of Charlotte. Faced off against the ever-dangerous Wes Whisler. (Yes, THE Wes Whisler. If Dave Eilland ever straightens out Wes Whisler, he'll be known as the Wes Whisler Whisperer.)
Anyway, six innings, no runs.
New York soon.
You hate to break up that AnthraCity rotation of Towers, Fossum, Wang, Igawa and rain. But with Brett Tomko up, working in the Hamstring Pull Factory, it's just not the same.
We need the old Wang, pitching in the new Park.
With any luck, he'll be up just in time to see Iron Man Burnett go down.
