Supreme Court Justices Harp on Redsock Hate Groups

From today's Times, this gem of brutal honesty is buried -- no doubt by some editorial Gammonite -- in a story about the NFL's current anti-trust case before the U.S. Supreme Court.
In the case, the NFL -- also known as "the League of Extraordinary Genitals" -- is claiming that its dictatorial, totalitarian, Stalinistic, evil, communistic marketing schemes are a beloved piece of Americana.

This prompted the court to ask the lawyer opposing the NFL -- he represents "American Needle Co." (No, I won't explain this; the Internet is not large enough to handle all the copy) -- WTF?

This raised the issue of Redsock hatred, the most volatle and undiscussed issue in America.

Says the Times:

Justice Breyer probed Nager’s position with questions about another sport. (“I know baseball better,” the justice said.)

“You want the Red Sox to compete in selling T-shirts with the Yankees, is that right?” Breyer asked.

Nager said yes.

That sort of competition would be pointless, Breyer responded.
“I don’t know a Red Sox fan who would take a Yankees sweatshirt if you gave it away,” he said.

For the Record: YANKEE FANS ALWAYS ACCEPT FREE REDSOCK SWEATSHIRTS.

WE CAN FIND USE FOR THEM.
