Keep in mind... the Curse...
I've got Cashman.

It is time to celebrate democracy again.

10 reasons to be glad about the signing of Randy Winn

1. reduced the unemployment rate

2. he won’t hit his 2 homeruns for the Red Sox

3. better arm than Damon, better knees than Matsui

4. higher OBP than Adrian Beltre

5. steals more bases than Melky

6. cooler name than Eric Hinske

7. hit as many homers in majors last year as Greg Golson hit in the minors

8. younger than Jimmy Wynn; less dead than Early Wynn

9. higher batting average and fewer strikeouts than Mike Cameron

10. whatever his VORP is, they’ll probably get even better when they replace him

Cashman.
Howie Spira, back in the news.

I think it has to be the new assistant to Brian Cashman.

He is the newest Yankee.
A guy we could afford because we dinged Johnny Damon.
He is replacing a highly talented person.
He eats slim jims by the handful.
No one knows him.

Gotta go with Damon. IIH has a history of recognizing recent ex-Yankees with the lovely parting gift of an Employee of the Month Award (see Melky Cabrera).

How many more times are you going to have the chance to give Kei Igawa his hat trick lifetime achievement award ?

Vote Kei Now ! While there's still time.
